On this site you can find out more about all the different possibilities for an individual imprint with high quality printing techniques.
Our printing methods
Screen process printing
The screen printing process is particularly suitable for printing large motifs on our pencils.
When applying your motif using the screen printing process, the pencils run over a belt to the screen. There, the ink is applied to the pencil through the screen (through-printing).
By rotating the pencils, it is possible to print almost »all around« them.
Only a small gap is left »free«.
Information: As the pencils require a contact surface on the treadmill both at the front and at the back, a distance of approx. 1 cm between the printed image and the end of the pencil is necessary.
Digital printing / photo printing
In this printing process, high-quality varnishes are printed directly onto the product using 6-color printing. Full-surface photographs, multi-colored logos or complex graphics - almost unlimited design possibilities make this type of printing particularly attractive.
The possibility of small print runs makes photo printing particularly interesting. We would also be happy to design your folding rule or pencil.
Important note:
Digital printing is done in process colors (CMYK). RGB or special colors are converted accordingly. We accept no liability for any resulting color deviations. Color accuracy is not guaranteed with CMYK.
Offset printing
Offset printing is a flat printing process. During printing, the lipophilic image areas absorb “oily” printing ink, while the image-free hydrophilic areas repel the coloring substance.
There are no limits to your creativity when it comes to cardboard cases. Offset printing allows you to design them according to your individual wishes.
Important note:
Offset printing is done in process colors (CMYK). RGB or special colors are converted accordingly. We accept no liability for any resulting color deviations. Color accuracy is not guaranteed with CMYK.
Pad printing
Shaped parts or indentations, structured or uneven surfaces can be printed using the pad printing process. In other words, all parts that do not have straight printing surfaces.
The name pad printing comes from the fact that the printing ink is transferred from an etched cliché to the printed material using a silicone pad. Suitable for printing on: Pens, cases and folding rulers.
Stamping
Embossing is a »memorable« and cost-effective print finish in the truest sense of the word. It is embossed using a metal stamp that creates a permanent raised or recessed deformation. A haptic experience for the user when the pen is held between the fingers.
An embossing can be designed in one color in different colors (hot foil stamping). This is possible with all our individual pens.
Print type depends on motif
What type of printing is used when you order a printed pencil or a printed folding rule?
The printing process we use to apply your desired motif to the pencils depends on various factors.
For example, an »all-round print« on pencils is always realized using screen printing. If your motif has a lower print height, digital or pad printing may be more suitable.
However, you can be sure that we will always choose the process that achieves the best result for your individual item.
Additional notes
Important to know
If we are not sure whether a printing motif can be realized well, we recommend a proof sample in advance. Please note that color accuracy is only guaranteed with your concrete color specifications (Pantone, HKS, RAL). Without color specifications or with CMYK values, color deviations are possible.
